Getting everyone to take turns in introducing themselves and a little on what they know about the topic is quite useful as an ice breaker, before the start of session. I was quite fortunate to take up training session on Health & Hygiene for Sahyog Care 4 You Foundation and impart knowledge to CRPF Staff (wives)

When I do trainings, I try to make them interactive session rather than just me going on and on…I like to play games during trainings with quizzes at the end of the sessions. I also like giving little gifts or incentives to top 3 participants which helps to keep everyone awake. I like to use funny photos and videos that show mistakes. Then I let the class to elaborate on how serious the incident is or could have been. It gets their attention with a little humour and results in more active participation in the topic.


Looking at today’s scenario it’s very important for everyone to know on Health & Hygiene. The discussion was on some WHO standards and few safety provisions. I tried to get them involved in having a discussion instead of a lecture.

It was really an amazing time delivering lecture on a crucial topic and having a privilege to be a part and deliver awareness, it’s an awesome feeling for doing your bit for the nation.

Today wishing all my Cabin Crew team an International Flight Attendant Day! Celebrating your professional day is something I always feel proud of. Few friends who already know me well are now closer to my heart.  The day is celebrated to recognise the work and dedication of the members of the flight crew who work hard to provide care and comfort to the passengers for their safe travel.
