National Technology Day: Know the Scientific Approach and Achievements on 11 May 1999

Today India is observing the technology achievements of Indian Scientist and Engineers. This day    of May 11, 2020 is the mark of the first day that was celebrated on May 11, 1999. Now the insightful message this day gives us to celebrate all the scientist who easily thought of  breaking the record by smaller to bigger achievements that shook the world.

The Day to Remember 11 May 1999- Pakhran -2

1.The Pokhran-2 were the series of five nuclear bomb test explosions that was handled and executed by Indian Army’s Pokhran Test Range in My 1998.
2.The First test was in the conducted by the code name as Smiling Buddha in May 1974.

What was the Nuclear Test?

The test was to apply a positive impact on building fission and thermonuclear weapons with yields up to 200 Kilotons. Amazingly the Chairman of Indian Atomic Energy Commission clearly describes the successful test conducts every time when they had to.
Pokhran-2 is well consisted of five detonations which includes a fusion bomb while the other remaining four were fission bombs. The tests actually initiated on 11 May 1998-under the given code name as Operational Shakti that of one fusion and two fission bombs. This was really a thoughtful decision taken by the Indian Scientist which helped many others to achieve a greater height in nuclear testing seasons.
On 13 May 1998 the additions fission was excitedly detonated which was led by the Prime Mister Atal Bihari Vajpayee shortly convened a press conferences to declare a nuclear state in India. Many names were given after they assigned these testing which originally and was collectively called Operational Shakti- 98 by having nuclear bombs – early designed Shakti -1 through to Shakti-5. Recently the whole has come to known as Pokhran 2 and the 1974 explosion as   Pokhran-.1.

What was the benefit of this Nuclear Testing?

The testing of Pokhran in India excellently established computer simulation capability to predict and further design the explosives which is indeed a great achievement in the world of science.

Message from Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji on National Technology Day

Today Our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji have been honouring the scientific levels of growth in our country. Indeed, it’s a blessing. Here is the thankful note for you from PM Modi ji.
“I salute all those at the forefront of research and innovation on ways to defeat Coronavirus,” PM Modi tweeted. He hoped for further harnessing of technology for the creation of a “healthier and better planet”.
