Positive Major Changes Before & After The Lockdown

Our lives have changed forever. While the COVID-19 pandemic is still unfolding, several changes can be seen in our everyday lives regarding our personal space, relationship status, environment, or technology-oriented.

Before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the climate surrounding us was considered very toxic for breathing due to the number of greenhouse gasses released over the years. The Planet was faced with rising temperatures, which in turn leads to the reduction of glaciers and rising sea levels.

But after the coronavirus lockdown commenced, there have been slight changes in the environment, relationship status, and technology. Here are several spotlight changes that are hard to solve earlier and cure easily now.

  •  The environment is cleaner since the lockdowns kicked in

BEFORE

Before the lockdown, there was immense traffic on the roads and pollution in the air. Neither Humans can breathe on earth nor birds can breathe in the sky peacefully. Everyone’s peace is lost in the vicious circle of global warming. All are busy earning money but nobody is cautious and alert towards their Mother Earth.

AFTER

After the lockdown was formed in many countries, fewer people traveled, whether by their cars or by trains and flights. People started walking in their daily lives instead of the Picking Car keys. Even the industries have been closed down and are not allowed to function. This, in effect, led to a significant reduction in air quality, as there was a severe decrease in nitrous oxide emission.

Almost everyone has spotted the bluer skies, cleaner air, brighter moons and stars, and louder birdsongs, and we have seen images of cleaner rivers and forgotten mountain views. The economic downturn has given people a taste of air to breathe in a low-carbon environment.

So, Our priority is to save the environment rather than to save money.

  • Save Water, Save Earth!

BEFORE

Before Covid-19, water supplies such as streams, dams, seas, and groundwater were polluted by the dumping of contaminants by the industries without any procedure for the elimination of toxic compounds. Plastics can be found in the rivers. Water pollution impacts not only marine plants and wildlife but also humans and ecosystems.

AFTER

Since there were no boats, whether they be fishing or pleasure ships, plying on the rivers and lakes, the water was cleared. The water was so transparent that the fish could be seen and there was a smoother flow of water. No doubt, even the oceans are recovering because of the lesser human footfall, and marine life is thriving.  The rivers could be seen as plastic-free.  Plants are growing better because they have cleaner air and water, and because there is no human interference again.

The pandemic has shown How Nature will look free from Water pollution.

  • Same Pain, Same Fear: Save Wildlife

BEFORE

Human disturbance is driving the decline of many species, both directly and indirectly. Let's be clear-we have only cleared half of the world. Wildlife is a precious gift from God to this planet. To maintain a healthy balance of nature, each organism on this earth has a distinct place in the food chain that allows it to add value to the ecosystem in its way.

Unfortunately, however, many of the animals and birds are becoming endangered. Natural habitats of animals and plants are being killed for human development and agriculture. Hunting and poaching animals for fur, jewelry, meat, and leather are other key factors that contribute to the extinction of wildlife.

We don't need to clear any more land, Watson said.

In 2019, We went to the zoo to watch animals, and In 2020, they are watching us in our cage

and they are free. Again, when it comes to fish, the lockdown has seen a downfall in fishing,

which means that the biomass of fish will increase after overfishing has almost been exhausted.

Apart from that, the animals were observed moving around freely where they would not dare to

go. Even sea turtles have been noticed returning to areas where they once avoided laying their

eggs, all due to lack of human involvement.

Let’s Save the lives of Creatures and set them free from fear and pain.

  • Lockdown cementing relationships strong and bringing families together

BEFORE

Before the lockdown, Everyone is busy with their stuff. Elders are busy in their earnings, investments, and future planning. And, Younger ones are busy in their studies, assignments, sports, and video games. When they come back from filling their daily routine, either they would like to spend their time on Social media, chilling with friends, or playing video games. They all are stuck in between their self-made boundaries.

All are busy in their personal space. Nobody wants to share their feelings and is broken inside a lot which causes depression and mental disorders too. As per Financial express reports, Around 200 million people in India suffer from depression.

AFTER

We never thought we would have to be stuck inside for so long. However, the lockdown has also given us the chance to reestablish the relationship we have missed with our families. With our fast-paced lives, we have been working, we are hardly sitting together as a family. The lockdown gives us the chance to go back to the days when the family time was the most valuable moment of the day.

People are taking meals together and enjoying table conversations. They are playing indoor games instead of scrolling social media. All are performing household chores together. It is time to bring out the artist in you and spend time with all the hobbies you were missing.

Lockdown creates a family that eats together, stays together, prays together, and raises together.

  • Lockdown act as a magnifying glass for Digital World

 BEFORE

A few months ago, we were all on the way to conferences, to constant calls in our workplace, and to use technology for critical communications beyond our workplace and outside the borders of our geographical area, one of the most critical aspects in the changeover story is the role of technology and the internet. During the period of the lockdown, Technology finds a way to carry on relationships, work, and public services together which seems to me like a fantasy without technology.

AFTER

Technology defines the environment in which countries have to respond to Covid-19. That will boost progress, but will also act like a magnifying mirror for technology and government policy gaps.

Little once we saw that with a pandemic and a resulting lockdown, everything would change, leading to a new modern era of online contact and teamwork. Through drone monitoring the lockdown in various locations to digital channels that make online contact and teamwork possible, the way we do business is experiencing a tectonic change during this period.

We are not using technology, We are living technology.

  • Happiness is homemade

BEFORE

Before the period of lockdown, People were enjoying street foods, eating unhealthy and junk food. All are busy at parties. There is no schedule for having meals and maintaining a proper diet. Many are preparing their mealtime according to their work schedule. And, even many are having meals in canteens, cafes, and restaurants or ordering food online. These all are good for a while but having it daily can cause an immense loss to our health.

Given the lockdown, you are unable to order food from outside. Which means we are having
home-cooked meals more often. Exactly what our parents and spouses always wanted. This
means you are also eating healthy and also eating on time. You are spending your time
balancing your healthy life like doing yoga, meditation, listening to music, taking proper diet, etc.
So, it's time to be health-conscious and eat home-made food.
  • People learned to live without politics, with religion

BEFORE

Before the period of lockdown, everyone is busy scheduling their work to get effective

outcomes. From home to office, working all day and going home, many are living in their busy

world without praying to God. Not on their working fields, not on meals and are not thankful for

living a better life than others. They are not praying to God when the day begins and not being

thankful for God for completing our work-schedule timely and reaching home safely.

In the lockdown period, All are clapping and showing gratitude towards Doctors, Soldiers, etc.

are still working in a dangerous period of coronavirus for saving other’s life. Families are

praying together to cure their lives and eliminating coronavirus impact from the earth. Science

is working, but still, Prayers are more precious and effective than Science.

When we have a state of emergency, we also need prayers of emergency

Wrap-up

Rip the benefits from the lockdown period. Spend family time together. Eat healthy food and

maintain a proper diet. Use technology and do carry your work and studies from home. Fulfill

your hobbies and interests. Use the time effectively and come with the new You. THANK YOU

LOCKDOWN!
